Your secure online purchase
Purchases made on our site are secured by the Crédit Agricole e-transactions system or Paypal, all information exchanged to process the payment (16-digit card number, expiration date, visual cryptogram) is encrypted using the SSL protocol. . This data cannot be detected, intercepted or used by third parties. They are also not stored on our computer systems.
Bank card
1- After filling their shopping cart, the Internet user clicks on one of the payment methods offered by the merchant's site (thanks to the e-transactions kit). The Internet user is automatically connected to the e-transactions payment server which asks for their bank details in order to make an authorization request from their bank. The required data is:
- Card number
- Expiration date
- Visual cryptogram
(the last 3 digits of the number on the back of the card)
2- Upon receipt of the authorization response, e-transactions simultaneously sends a response to the merchant server as well as a receipt.
3- The e-transactions server sends the transaction for delivery to the bank (merchant credit and internet debit).
4- Exchanges between e-transactions and the Internet user (2 and 3) are encrypted. Only the e-transactions server knows the Internet user's bank card number.
When you make an online payment on our site by credit card, you are asked to enter an additional authentication code. This verification code is called the “SecureCode”.
What is SecureCode?
The SecureCode is part of the 3DSecure system called "Verified by Visa" at Visa, and "SecureCode" at Mastercard. The majority of major banks have implemented this system to strengthen the security of your online purchases. It protects you against possible fraudulent use of your card on merchant sites.
It allows you to authenticate and confirm your identity, at the time of paymenta code is sent to you by your bank on your mobile phone.
